My first ever project. Camba Bavaria, which is a well known German Craft Beer Brewery, needed new designs for their new fancy product line. I jumped in to help them out. The time frame was very long. About 6 months. And the creative process was intense. We communicated back and forth until we found the right ideas. But it was worth the effort. I still like those designs very much. And you do not hear this often from a Designer.

The Client wanted something fancy and a matching main color for every label. Complex illustrations were much appreciated from Camba. And they wanted to stand out from the crowd. 

I started with the colors. For every Beer I wanted the main color to give a glimpse of the taste. For example the Grapefruit Orange/Pink of the IPA Design fits it´s intense aromas of exotic fruits. Then I chose the illustrations and fonts for the Designs to give them the right feeling. The Black Shark Design for example screams at you with it´s aggressiveness and power. Just like the beer that´s in the can. The most intense dark beer I ever tasted. Overall I wanted the cans to represent very intuitively what’s inside of them and what to expect from the beers.
